It’s easy to manage Facebook pages from computer, but what about managing them from your iPhone? Well you can manage your fan page through your iPhone as well, and that too, pretty easily. With your iPhone, you can connect to your Facebook page for business and buy likes.
This helps you reduce the time that you have to spend on updating your fans because scheduling posts before time allows you to hide your content from their news feed.
Now you can participate in conversations going on in your news page. Plus you can share content on your wall- right from your smart phone. You can do that from Android as well, but since iPhone is the most popular right now, let’s discuss how you can use your iPhone to manage Facebook pages.
First sign into your Facebook app on iPhone, and it will take you to your dashboard from where you can access check-ins, news feeds, and personal photographs etc.
Your Facebook app comes with some core icons. You can add your own icons as well. For example, setup an icon for favorites. This is the simplest way to manage all Facebook pages without searching for the right one when you need it.

Add your business page as a favorite in the app. Click the + button. This will give you an option to add the present page or friend as favorite.
Pages tabs are organized according to pages you manage and pages you like. You can select the organization of your choice, and this will display an icon for that page, which will let you manage that page quickly.
Agreed, you cannot view your Facebook notifications in exactly the same way as they would appear on your computer, but that shouldn’t stop you from posting links, copying images to your wall and responding to comments, videos, images, and other content.
So now that your fan page is added on the app as your favorite, you can move its icon wherever you want. Just long press any icon and it will start wiggling. Now you can move that icon to your desired location.

Now you need to share content on your page. Visit the page and click on info. And since you are on your page, you can read your fans’ comments, share a link or an image, or even write a post for others to read. And just like as viewing pages from your computer, when you visit your fan page, all your posts appear as coming from your fan page and not from you personally.
You can even share photographs by uploading a pic from your iPhone. And if that image is not present on your iPhone, you can always email it to yourself and then upload it from your phone. Just tap on ‘Share photos’ to begin sharing photos with fans.
If you want to write a post for your fans to read, just tap on ‘Write post’ and begin writing it. In case you have already written a post and it is saved in an email, you can copy paste its contents. Facebook Fan Marketing should mention here that links that are shared using this function don’t look as great as when posted via a computer because the formatting options you get on a computer are more elaborate.
Responding to your fans’ comments is easy as well. It’s a bit more difficult when it comes to viewing notifications, particularly on iPhones running on older iOS versions. Even on new iPhones, you don’t get automatically refreshing notifications. But that’s still not as easy as viewing notifications on the computer.
In the end, your iPhone isn’t the best solution to manage Facebook pages, but it does provide a great secondary option. Which phone do you use? Is it easy to access Facebook from it? Share your views with us.
