The Facebook Timeline Covers are very important to attract more people to your Facebook Page. It can be a beautiful picture, or even a video to present your business in a really professional way.
How to create Facebook Cover VideosThe video below will explain you how to use Photoshop CC to create a Facebook Cover Video.
Hey guys my name is Matt Johnson, and today I want to share with you how to export Facebook Page Cover Videos using Adobe Premiere Pro. And this is actually the fourth video in kind of a series that I’ve been making all about export settings, so I have other videos namely about how to export 4K, how to export 1080p, and how to export videos for Instagram, so if you watch this one and you were intrigued by it you said man I learned a lot ! Maybe you would like to watch some of these other videos to which I will link to up in the corner, and down in the description if you want to check them out. That said let’s jump right into the tutorial.
Alright guys welcome to Facebook and I’m sure you’re ike, “Matt you said you were going to talk about Premiere, why are we in Facebook ?!”
Because Facebook is where we are going to be uploading this cover video, and I want to talk to you about the recommended settings that Facebook has, for cover videos.
These are Facebook’s recommended cover video settings namely your video needs to be within 20 to 90 seconds in length, and at minimum, your video should be size of 820 by 462 pixels, with a recommended size of 820 by 462. Now why are they recommending 820 by 312 pixels ?
That is such a weird resolution, well that is because 820 by 312 pixels is
actually the resolution of your cover video. So in a perfect world you would be making videos that match that resolution so it fits perfectly. But that is a weird niresolution because people are not normally making videos at 820 by 312 1pixels, Facebook has a workaround. Namely ltheir recommended size of 820 b 462 pixels. This resolution is actually very very similar to 16 by 9, so if you have an HD video or a 4k video as long as is wide screen, at a normal resolution 1920 by 1080, 3840 by 2160 by recommending that you export your videos at a size of 820 by 462 pixels, Facebook is attempting to keep you from having to do any sort of drastic cutting off the top in bottom of your video to fit into the cover video section here. The issue is that you are going to be cutting off parts of your video, regardless and that can be an issue which I’m oin to show ou now.
